Sulfur Commodity Commercialization
For the field of mineral natural resource management, PEMA has realized the development of sulfur minerals.
Related to this sulfur project, PEMA has carried out the first lifting shipment of sulfur on Friday, January 14, 2022 as much as 1,300 tons for the paper industry.
The sulfur was produced from Medco Block A working area, with the first shipment through the Port of KEK Arun, Blanglancang, Lhokseumawe.
Commodity sulfur is used on a large scale for the needs of the fertilizer industry and the paper industry. By doing so, PEMA is able to boost revenue to Aceh’s local revenue. The process of shipping and delivery of sulfur materials is expected to continue to increase.
