Commercialization of Fishery Products
Aceh Province is rich in potential marine and fisheries resources, with Aceh’s ocean area reaching 295,370 km2 consisting of 56,563 km2 of territorial and archipelagic waters and 238,807 km2 of Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
With the vastness of Aceh’s waters, there is great potential in fish catches, and frozen fish production is a solution to maintain the quality of fish sold to various local markets and global markets, including the United States, Europe, and Asia for this reason PEMA formed a KSO business unit that focuses on the fisheries trading business, especially the sale of frozen fish.
Please note that KSO is a joint operation of PT Pembangunan Aceh Perseroda with local partners as an effort to increase PAD from the fisheries sector of Aceh Province.
