Banda Aceh – PT Pembangunan Aceh (PEMA) Perseroda signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Aceh Province Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) to strengthen synergies in the field of Development and Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
The signing took place on Thursday, (08/08/2024) at the Aceh DPMPTSP Office through synergy between the two parties in the form of capital investment provided from PT PEMA to MSMEs assisted by DPMPTSP Aceh.
“Hopefully with this opportunity MSMEs can feel the presence of PEMA. There are too many problems we have faced since the Covid 19 outbreak. With the various challenges that exist, MSMEs can survive until now. Hopefully with this activity MSMEs can continue to strengthen and be empowered.”, said Muhammad Iswanto, Head of DPMPTSP Aceh.
“All parties have an obligation to strengthen the economy of our people. In the future, after the MoU, we will see what assistance can be provided to the Lambaro Main Market, Aceh Besar. There are several city districts that depend on the Lambaro Main Market. In addition, we must also pay attention to loan sharks in small markets around us. We must not close our eyes, today with the presence of PT PEMA we can overcome this all together”, added Iswanto.
Meanwhile, President Director of PT PEMA, Faisal Saifuddin said that this momentum is the beginning as a gateway to the next agreement. “We agree that if the community is not helped economically, then everything is meaningless and in vain. At least we contribute to the community even though we start small first. Hopefully, PEMA’s small steps can set an example and be followed by other companies,” Faisal concluded.
