Banda Aceh – PT PEMA attended the activities of Bank Indonesia (BI) Representative of Aceh Province in the context of the 2024 Respondent Meeting at The Pade Hotel, Tuesday (1/10/2023). The activity is an agenda formed as an appreciation from Bank Indonesia to business actors, banks and various sectors that have become BI respondents in survey activities whose results will be used for policy formulation and recommendations to local governments.
The data surveyed include the Survey of Business Activities (SKDU), Retail Sales Survey (SPE), Price Monitoring Survey (SPH), and Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) and others. At the event, Bank Indonesia raised the theme Digital Transformation: Challenges and Opportunities for Businesses in Aceh. The event was moderated by Andy F Noya and presented several speakers, such as; Almer Hafis Sandy as Commercial Director of PT PEMA, Anshar Zulhelmi, Founder of Bitata Food, a home industry company from Aceh that is active and engaged in the culinary field in Indonesia and Daudy Sukma, Founder of Minyeuk Pret, a local perfume brand that has now become an icon of Aceh’s superior products at the national level.
On that occasion, Almer explained to the audience about PT PEMA as one of the Aceh-Owned Enterprises and the scope of business that is being carried out such as Oil and Gas, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and several sectors that will be reached in the future are closely related to digital transformation.
“PT PEMA as one of Aceh’s regional companies has developed several digital systems that can be accessed, one of which is the Integrated Vendor Database System. So later Partners who want to invest can access the link on the PT PEMA website and register themselves as potential partners. ” Almer explained.
He explained again, regarding the importance of digitalization in the business world. Currently PT PEMA has developed several digital systems to streamline work by utilizing the IT world, such as the PEMA-SYS Program, online letter administration and HR System.
“We need acceleration in digitalization to accelerate business processes, because it is getting faster every day. It is feared that if we do not prepare ourselves, we will be late.” Almer appealed.
The meeting was also attended by the CEO of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Aceh, Wachjono and the Head of Representative of Bank Indonesia Aceh Province, Rony Widijarto Purubaskoro and other MSME entrepreneurs.
