Pema Treats Aceh’s Orphanage Children to Shop Ria

BANDA ACEH – In the context of the momentum of the commemoration of 2 Decades of the Aceh Earthquake and Tsunami Disaster, PT Pembangunan Aceh (PEMA) invites 50 orphans to shop for clothes and eat together. Activities that are accompanied by the Director of General and Finance, Lukman Age let the children buy clothes and other equipment.

“This is accompanying the orphans to shop for clothes and other equipment. We share happiness with them”, said Lukman at Matahari Store Plaza Aceh.

The orphans came from the Aceh Orphanage and some from Gampong Kuta Alam where PT PEMA’s office is located. They chose their own new clothes at a store in the shopping center.

This activity is also part of PT PEMA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. There are several areas included in the CSR distribution plan. The program we are implementing today is included in the social field. We want the community to feel the presence of PT PEMA in their midst,” said Cut Nanda Risma Putri, Public Relations of PT PEMA.

Outside the shopping center, the afternoon sun greeted them. Dozens of other children came out of the shopping center carrying their shopping bags containing the clothes they had chosen earlier.

“I’m very happy, Sis, because we rarely go shopping at the mall. I want to wear these clothes on my vacation to Takengon on the 29th,” said one of the boys named Raihan.

This activity was followed by a meal together at a restaurant in Banda Aceh City and the provision of compensation for children. In addition to being attended by the Director of General and Finance, also accompanied by the Secretary of the Company, Reza Irwanda; Executive Manager of General and Finance Mukhtar Ilyas; and other ranks of PT PEMA.
